“The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings; the inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries," Sir Winston Churchill.
The course of socialism has been a slow one first initiated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's "New Deal." The only deal it provided America with was one of perpetual indebtedness at the hands of laws that can never be revoked.
The nature of the Rooseveltian programs are targeted at the middle class, the largest voting constituency, as such their repeatability is unlikely.
Entitlement programs that are given to the majority of the electorate are notoriously difficult to repeal. Who doesn't love "free money?"
The United States of America is capitalism's great hope. The philosophies of Adam Smith and John Locke are the bedrock of American society and entrepreneurial spirit, let us not for get their fundamental principles.
God Bless America
